COVID Level 2

Tauranga is now under Level 2 restrictions and this means we can still see you in the clinic with a few precautions. We also have telehealth available if you are an ‘at risk’ group or just prefer not to be around people at the momenent.

Please ring reception and postpone your appointment if you are unwell. Your therapist may be able to still see you over the internet and we are happy to do this if it suits you or if you need to be seen this week.

You will see our contact tracing sign in sheet in reception and our QR code as before.

Your therapist will be treating you either behind a screen or with a mask on. You are welcome to bring a mask. There is plenty of hand sanitizer around and hand washing facilities available.

Nga mihi ~ Kind regards

Jill, Michelle, Steph and Donna

Jill Edwards

PGDip (Ocupational Practice), BHSc(OT),
Registered Hand Therapist, MOTNZ

Jill gets a real buzz out of helping people regain hand function, particularly of daily tasks such as ability to change nappies, tie their shoelaces, return to knitting or even shake hands. With a degree in Occupational Therapy and a post graduate diploma of Occupational Practice, this has remained a big focus throughout 11 years in hand therapy.

Jill graduated from AUT in 2000 with a Bachelor of Health Science and prior to hand therapy, worked in a variety of roles including community therapy, aged care, return to work programmes and assistive technology.

Jill has two school aged children and in any free time enjoys gardening, running and crochet.

Michelle Caspersonn

MHPrac(Rehab), Registered Hand Therapist,

Acupuncturist, MPNZ

Graduating from AUT in 2004 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Michelle has treated a wide range of conditions including sideline support for sports teams and has completed a Postgraduate Clinical Masters in Rehabilitation.

Nine years in hand therapy has been extremely rewarding...she is always pleased to help patients return to their usual roles at home, work and in sport/leisure as soon as possible.

With three young children, spare time is at a premium. However, she enjoys swimming, reading and exploring the outdoors.

Steph Freeman

PGCert (Rehab), Associate Hand Therapist, BPhty, MPNZ

After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Otago University in 2010, Steph has primarily worked in private practice, treating a range of musculoskeletal injuries with a hands on approach and exercise rehabilitation focus. Steph has been involved in Pain Management Programs, Return to Work Programs, Women's Health and Pilates, but she has found her true passion in Hand therapy and has completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science in Rehabilitation.

Steph enjoys supporting her clients from an acute injury, through to getting them back to what they enjoy most. In her spare time, Steph loves spending time with her family, swimming laps, and the occasional squash game!
