Before & During Your Care

Appointments & Fees

Additional charges may apply for consumables such as tape or exercise equipment. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please give us at least 4 hours’ notice.

Getting the Best Outcome

Treatment is often most effective when started as soon as possible after an injury. If a splint or dressing has been applied in the emergency department, please continue to follow wearing instructions until your hand therapy review.

What to Bring

Please bring any referral information (from your GP, ACC, or other insurer) and a list of your current medications.

Your Treatment

Your care may include splinting, wound and scar management, swelling control, taping, stretching, massage, acupuncture, and a personalised exercise or movement programme.
